This session is aimed at higher and further education providers to address compliance issues, Right to Work Checks, and prevalent immigration concerns in respect of your PBS sponsored and non-sponsored migrant employees.
With extensive experience of advising HR and Recruitment departments within the education sector, DavidsonMorris Principal, Anne Morris and in-house immigration specialist for the education sector Lizama Thahir will:
- Discuss compliance issues as it pertains to the sector, common pitfalls and recommended practice
- Take you through the Statement of Changes 2015 as it pertains to the Business Visitor Visa reform in general and academic visitors in particular
- Discuss the steps that must be taken as a result of the closure of Tier 1 (General) to extension application as of April 2015
