UKVI has confirmed it is resuming application services on a phased basis, as follows:

Individuals with appointments that were cancelled due to COVID-19 can now reschedule. Those who qualify will be contacted in order to book their new appointment.
We will keep clients updated as to when appointments become available as services resume.
UKVCAS has assured it is proceeding with a “controlled, phased re-opening of Service Points”. The following centres are scheduled to reopen in the coming weeks:

From 1 June, reopening of overseas centres will be phased in, in line with local restrictions. Not all services will be available initially and those that are, will not be operating to usual capacity.
Priority and super priority services will not be available at this time.
The following VFS Global Visa Application Centres (VACs) have reopened:

- Bandar Seri Begawan
- Chiang Mai
- Ho Chi Minh City
- Phnom Penh
From 28/29 June, the following will be reopening:

From 12/13 Juy, the following are reopening:

- New Jersey – Elizabeth
- Port Elizabeth
- San Francisco
- San Jose
- Virginia – Alexandria
Appointments went live on 6 July for TLS locations and 8 July for VFS locations.
Appointments for Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore went live on 8 July, but will reopen for new appointments from 27 July.
Customers who were unable to attend an earlier appointment will be able to log into their account to book a new appointment.
All customers visiting the Visa Application Centres may be asked to observe social distancing, undergo temperature checks or be required to wear facemasks/gloves, subject to local authority guidelines.
Customers with any COVID-19 symptoms on the day of their appointment will be helped to reschedule their appointment and advised to seek medical attention.
All the VAC customers are also strongly advised to purchase Courier Return of their documents, so they do not have to visit the Visa Application Centre again to collect their documents once a decision is made.
While most VFS Global and TLS contact centres remain closed, sponsors and applicants are advised to continue checking updates from relevant centres as countries progress with easing lockdown restrictions and resuming services on different schedules.
