Several companies in the petrochemical sector, and their employees, have been nominated for the prestigious Oil and Gas safety awards spanning across 6 categories.
The awards are the brainchild of Oil & Gas UK, the leading representative organisation for the UK offshore oil and gas industry and jointly organised by Oil & Gas UK and Step Change in Safety, with Maersk Oil as principal sponsor.
There were over 100 nominations with the finalists. Nominees were whittled down by previous winners, elected safety representatives and senior leaders from across industry as follows:

The winners of each category will be announced at the Oil and Gas award ceremony at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference on Wednesday 29 April.
